get_distinct_state_sequences()
get_distinct_state_sequences() returns the DSS (distinct successive states) representation for each sequence.

What It Does
- Converts each sequence into distinct successive states (collapsing repeated consecutive states).
- Returns a tabular DSS output for all sequences.
